Our reason to exist…

At Feelbright Kids, we believe every child deserves to grow up healthy, confident and resilient. Today, many parents are watching childhood chronic conditions, anxiety, and behavioral struggles rise in alarming rates. They want to teach their children about health and self-care early, yet often feel stuck trying to explain these big ideas in ways their kids will actually care and enjoy.

Children deserve a better start in their health journey

40% of school aged children live with a chronic health condition (asthma, obesity, diabetes, learning difficulties)

Anxiety is twice as common in children with chronic conditions compared to their peers, making routines and home treatments harder to follow and understand

For me this mission is deeply personal. My son has struggled with allergies and asthma since he was a baby. I faced the impossible task of trying to explain his health in a way that didn’t create fear of resistance. Watching his frustration turn into behavioral challenges broke my heart.

I also know what it feels like first-hand. At 14, I was diagnosed with prediabetes and high cholesterol, and I had no idea how my lifestyle choices were affecting me. Making changes as a teenager felt overwhelming, and I often thought, “If only I had learned this sooner in a way I could understand and enjoy as a child”.

That’s why I created Feelbright Kids. We turn daily health routines into playful adventures through interactive stories and activities that children love. We help kids build resilience, confidence, and lifelong healthy habits from the very start, while giving parent peace of mind and more moments of connection with their child.

At Feelbright Kids, we‍ ‍are not just building products, we’re nurturing a new generation of mindful, confident kids who will outgrow chronic con ditions, develop lifelong healthy habits, and care for themselves and the planet with joy.

Hey, I’m Elisabeth! I am thrilled to be a founder of FeelBright Kids. My friend Alba approached me about taking part in starting something really special. We spent a few months brainstorming what that “special” initiative might be, and that’s how Feelbright Kids came to be.

I was born with congenital heart disease, underwent surgery at 3 months old, and grew up with a scar up my back, always being told to slow down when I was running around playing. Of course that did not stop me, and I instead started dance class at 3 years old, and picked up sailing and a brief stint of rowing later on. However, I always knew that I was different – the big scar up my back was one tell – and I never could quite keep up with the other kids. It took some time for me to understand what I needed to do to take care of myself, and to grow proud of what made me different.

At 21 years old, preparing to study abroad the following college semester, I was told I needed another heart surgery within the next 6 months. I also was preparing for a new scar - this time down the front of my chest. It took some time to physically recover and adjust to the then bright red scar ready for all to see – but, with special permission from my cardiologist, at least I was doing that in Spain.

Now as a mom working full-time, and starting this business as well, I am also learning to navigate conditions only recently diagnosed including a thyroid disorder and ADHD. I hope that through Feelbright Kids, we can also teach kids how to stay true to themselves while managing multiple conditions and frequent doctor’s visits.

Feelbright Kids is important to me because I want kids to know that it is OK if they are different, and in fact sometimes it can make them even stronger. I want kids to grow up with examples that it is OK to slow down now and take a breath, to then speed up later; to one day see matching scars on their stuffies and storybook characters; and to know that they are special for this difference.

I am excited to create Feelbright Kids. I am now a wife and a mom of two kids, and want to teach my kids and others how they can be confident in who they are, make healthy habits fun, and be the best version of themselves.
